John Bunjo was brought up in a Moslem family. One of his friends was a Christian and kept inviting John to attend church with him. Eventually John agreed to go to the church in hope hope that this would shut his friend up! Following his first visit John received Christ and was baptised with the Holy Spirit, and he also recieved healing; for he was born with three holes in his heart.

God lead John to take a bible study course with BTCP (Bible Training Center for Pastors) from the USA. In 1987 he founded a church and remained there as its Pastor until 1993. God then lead him to the Victory Christian Centre where he served as Pastor until 1998.

John knew that God was calling him to something else and he was given the vision for Christian Restoration Ministries International; to stand in the gap and serve the poor and needy, to restore the church to its former glory and to prepare leaders for the greatest revival of all time.

Today John, and Sarah, his wife, are as fully committed to CRM as ever by standing in the gap for many people today; bringing salvation and light to those who don’t know Jesus, and sharing a restoring message to thousands of people across Uganda, through daily radio broadcasts, Prayer Gatherings and Divine Encounters.

Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.

Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; he will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

He shall judge between the nations, and rebuke many people; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.

O house of Jacob, come and let us walk in the light of the LORD.
Isaiah 2:2-5 (NKJV)
